FMEA is a formal, structured process to identify and evaluate potential sources of risk in the design or manufacturing of a product. The focus of an FMEA is to identify the “potential failure modes” – the ways in which an item can fail – and provide a mechanism for mitigating these risks.
The purpose of the FMEA is to eliminate or reduce failures in descending order of severity, beginning with the most critical.
What you will learn:
- Ways to improve your FMEA strategy
- How to use predictive analysis to identify high-risk situations
